Gerhard is the Director of Finance and Operations for Fourth Avenue Capital, focusing on financial reporting, tax, operations, transaction execution, and firm strategy.

Prior to joining FAC, Gerhard spent over a decade at Moss Adams, a top-15 public accounting firm, where he served as a Senior Manager overseeing the Spokane office’s real estate and construction tax practice.  During his time at Moss Adams, he sat on the Pacific Northwest region’s Construction, Hospitality, Real Estate, and Professional Services (CHRPS) industry group committee, and in 2024 was recognized as the senior-manager recipient of the CHRPS Growth Award.  He has presented on tax legislative updates and strategy for the Inland Northwest chapters of the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), as well as the National Association of Real Estate Companies (NAREC).

Gerhard holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Whitworth University, where he received the George Weber Award, recognizing the business school’s outstanding graduating student in accounting. He is also a licensed CPA in the state of Washington.
